poem untitled
in the height of madness
i saw my face
above were the skies
below earth
me in the middle
suspended in love
looking at my own reflection.
in the height of madness
i saw my love
that cried for me
in pristine, ethereal moonlight
in front of a monolith
bemused as i stood
a sudden gush of wind
drove my senses away
there i wanted to do nothing
other than be with you
in the height of madness
i held you tight
kissed you once
kissed you again
and there then i died
in the height of madness
i saw heaven
life was no more in front of me
death no more behind
as i was released
from eternitys cycle
sat in the garden of eden
still in love
in the height of madness.
